Pellicle for
Unparalleled Comfort
Aeron is the only chair with
Pellicle suspension, a unique material
that conforms to the body and distributes
weight evenly over the seat and back for
truly customized support.
Air circulates through the Pellicle,
keeping the sitter comfortable by preventing
body heat build-up. Each of the available
Pellicle patterns delivers the same unique
level of custom fitted support and breathability.
Three Sizes
Aeron chairs come in three sizes.
The B size is the best fit for most people.
The A size fits those who are smaller
and lighter; the C size fits taller and
heavier people. Anybody from the 1st percentile
female to the 99th percentile male can

The Basic Aeron Chair and Fully-Loaded
Aeron Chair
The Basic Aeron Chair is an incredible value for cost-conscious
buyers. At $749, the Basic comes with Tilt Option I (a single-stage
pneumatic and standard tilt). You can set the tension for
the recline with the adjustment knob on the lower right side
of the chair; however, there is no lock mechanism. The Basic
does not come with a lumbar support, but many buyers find
that the Pellicle material alone provides adequate support;
an adjustable lumbar pad may be ordered for an additional
$40. Please note: this model has fixed arms. All other Aeron
options, including leather arms and soft casters, are available.
As an upgrade to the
Basic, the Fully-Loaded Aeron Chair (+$200)
comes with Tilt Option III (a single-stage
pneumatic, tilt limiter & seat angle
adjuster), Up/Down/In/Out Adjustable Vinyl
Arm Rests, Adjustable Lumbar Support &
2.5" All Purpose Casters. These features
allow you to recline your chair, set the
tension for the recline, engage or lock
the tilt mechanism, drop the seat into
a forward tilt mode for intensive keyboarding
and slide the lumbar support to where
your back needs the most support.
Choose to keep the standard
casters, good for carpet, or opt for the
soft casters that are better on hardwood
floors ($35 charge).
12-year,
3-shift Warranty
Like all Herman Miller for the Home products,
the Aeron chair is durable for long-term
performance and value. As a statement
of our confidence in its quality, the
Aeron chair is covered by the Herman Miller
Warranty and our straightforward promise
that we stand behind that quality 100
percent. The 12-year, 3-shift warranty
covers all standard elements and includes
labor on all warranty work.
New Pellicle Choices
In addition to
the Pellicle Classic with its stong vertical
weave patten, Herman Miller now offers
two new Pellicle pattern choices and new
colors to compliment the three Aeron frames
(see above right).

The Fully-Loaded Aeron Chair is an even
